But, if you want to talk evolution, I have three large posts on my blog here on GEC that explain pretty much everything. You'll know by the titles which posts those are. Better yet, I'll provide the links here, here, and here. Ah... can you really use these links as proof? They're links to other threads on the site. Oh well. Anyways, there are many holes in Christianity, as well. It says the world was created like 5,000 years before the birth of Christ. That isn't enough time for life to come about. We have artifacts older than that. Cave drawings. Human remains. The dinosaurs. Also, God couldn't have existed for all time. It's impossible (well, highly improbable). And the Great Flood. We have proof of floods dating back to before humans ever existed, yet no proof of this flood. How can this be if this was supposedly the largest flood of all time? Simple. It never existed. Before I go off ranting, I'll stop myself. I don't want to get an administrator annoyed with me... ;D

*sigh* Okay, let's tackle this one issue at a time.
First. This thread is not for discussing evolution.
Second. I provided links to those threads not as proof that God exists or that evolution is hogwash, but because this thread is not for discussion of evolution, which means such a discussion should be taken elsewhere. Do you understand? They were intended specifically to redirect this tangent. If you have a problem with my touting Christianity as fact, take it up with me in the proper thread. If you need additional explanation, please reread the sentences you quoted. You seem to have misread them the first time. ;D
Third. God exists. God is metaphysical, which means He is timeless, which means He is outside of time, which means he has existed forever. The Earth came into existence somewhere around 6,000 years ago. God sent a flood to cover the entire Earth approximately 4,000 years ago. Got a problem with any of that? Take it up with me in the proper thread.
And fourth. . . I am an administrator. ;D

I do love debates, but SWATK is right. This is the incorrect thread to have such a debate. The proper thread can be found: Here, Here, or Here. Also, if you feel such an inclination as to create a new thread to discuss this topic, that would be fine.

I should clarify: I was not personally attacking anyone with my last post. I was using my stern Admin-voice. That was more of a stop breaking rules than a you're a terrible human being. Also, I would like to mention that you can pm me any questions or objections you might have concerning the "evolutionism vs. creationism" thing. Seriously, if you really want to know why I believe what I do, please feel free to ask me. We just can't discuss it here, because it violates standard posting rules (no off-topic discussions). I promise I don't bite.
