It takes skill to make pop sound good.  This one's good. I like Mandisa's vocals a lot, and this is one has tobyMac in it. Even if you don't like it, just listen to the very end. Britt Nicole should be mainstream-famous. Just sayin'. ;D Okay, so here's Francesca Battistelli -- immediate classic. And Jimmy Needham deserves credit for being the best songwriter ever, as well as one of the coolest singers. He's just got style. ;D (Part the Clouds = best lyrics to any song ever) I saved the best for last. Say hello to Anthem Lights. |

Oh. . . Well, you can just Youtube: Francesca Battistelli This Is the Stuff It's pretty good. Anyway, I might as well include a few more songs. Jamie Grace. She's new enough that she doesn't even have an album out yet. However, tobyMac's her mentor, so you can expect she'll be good. This is her first music video, and the song, I think, is perfect for summer. The style is something I can't quite place, but I guess it's pop. ;D Avalon. Personally, this is my favorite music group. And Janna Long, the lead singer in this song, is one of my favorite vocalists ever. This is a live version of Avalon's more successful songs. I only put it here 'cause the guy who sings the second verse is my favorite vocalist ever: Jody McBrayer. You can expect I'll be posting more of his work here. Christmas music time! Jody McBrayer again. Try to hit that high note, Griffin. Go ahead. Try.  lol All right, back to Anthem Lights. They're totally new, and I think they're my second favorite group, just behind Avalon. We'll see once their second album comes out. |
