Okay, so a few months ago, I looked up Family Force 5 and listened to some of their songs. I didn't really care for any of the stuff from their last two albums, but then they released an EP for their third album, and I loved all three songs. The album was released two days ago, and I absolutely love it. The music itself was excellent, and the lyrics made my day. Now I want to know what you guys think of it. Believe it or not, the people that disliked it the most were Christians, and I just don't understand. The main complaints were the lyrics (particularly those of Dang Girl, You Got It, and Mamacita), and the lack of UBER-SPIRITUAL songs. Is it just me, or is it kind of nice that there's a Christian band out there that focuses their efforts on having fun? I mean, look, they had like two really spiritual songs on the album, and the other eight were just plain fun. Is that so wrong? All the songs involving a girl were written by Soul Glow Activatur to his wife. And if that's inappropriate, then don't even think about reading Song of Solomon. (lol, I just realized SGA's real name is Solomon ;D) Thoughts?
