You retrieve both the lamp and the flashlight. It would appear that neither mean you any harm. Tapping the lamp once more with the flashlight, the lamp flickers off. You tap it once more with the flashlight. It turns on. Stuffing the flashlight in your pocket and placing the lamp on its nightstand, you glance at the bed.
Do you tap something else with the flashlight? Or do you attempt lying down in the bed?

You still feel a bit perturbed by the bed, so you decide to experiment with the flashlight more. Tapping the walls proves fruitless, and the nightstands refuse to respond to the flashlight's touch. Looking around, there are two objects left to try, but neither seems very attractive to you at the moment.
Do you tap the bed or the door?

You tap the bed with your flashlight. At first, nothing happens, so you turn to tap the door. But just as you take your first step, a growling noise from behind startles you. You turn slowly to find the sheets on the bed waving about as though by the wind. You find yourself being sucked toward the bed by an unseen force. The pull gets stronger with each passing second, but you can probably manage to reach the door.
Do you try for the door? Or do you relax and fall into the ever-so-cuddly demon-bed?

You reach the door, gripping the doorknob tightly. The force is getting stronger, but you manage to open the door and pull yourself through. The moment your foot touches the sidewalk, the door closes itself, pushing you out onto the street in the process.
You take a moment to just lie there and breathe. The sky is white. The screeching is gone. Sitting up, you make a mental note not to enter that door again.
Around you are six other buildings with six other doors with six other doorknobs. You glance at your watch. The second hand is still ticking backwards, and the little dashes still mean nothing to you.
Do you try another door? Or do you sit and wait for time to pass?

You get up and make your way to the other side of the street. Your nervous hand closes around a black doorknob. It rattles a bit as you open the door. The room inside is black, just as the previous room. But this room is so dark that you can make out on the outline of a nightstand. On the nightstand sits what appears to be a lamp.
Do you turn away from the dark and scary room in favor of another? Or do you approach the lamp?

Closing the door behind you, you slowly approach the lamp. At this time, you realize that you have two options.
Do you draw your flashlight and tap the lamp therewith? Or do you attempt to take the lamp and leave the room?

You grab the lamp, but suddenly, a shadowy hand grabs your arm. Its grip is too tight, and you fear that your arm might break.
Do you tap the lamp with your flashlight to see what is grabbing your arm? Or do you retaliate?
